I went to the OB yesterday and IT'S TWINS!!!!!!!!
She says I am now about 14 weeks with twin girls! Everything is fine and she did a blood test and says everything is fine there too. She also said part of why I show so much is just because thin people show a lot when they get pregnant. I am now going to be going in every two weeks to be checked to make sure everything is good. I can't even begin to tell you how exciting and scary this is! Shari said that I will get to give birth a second time without having the second pregnancy! OMG THAT is scary!
Time for me to go to school but I wanted to get this out here. I will try to post the ultrasound picture later on if we can get the scanner to work.
YAY!!!!
Twins! (-:

ReplyDeleteI am also pregnant and around 14 weeks. When is your due date?
Hi Megan,
ReplyDeleteCongrats...I am so jealous (JOKE). I am very happy for you, and like Amina...please send some baby dust my way. Can't wait to hear more.
Hi Megan,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That is very exciting!
How did the doctor know they were girls? I understood you couldn't tell the gender via ultrasound until at least 18 weeks for a single and often later for multiples. My dear friend had stillborn twins at 20 weeks and even that late it was difficult to determine the genders. Did you have genetic testing?
Emily, sometimes it depends on the ultrasound tech and the equiptment used. It also depends on the position of the babies. Some ultrasound techs are gifted at reading the images and some equiptment is abit more higher tech.
ReplyDeleteYou have the most fascinating poly blog I have found so far. You may become a household word, if you are not already, and this at such a tender age!
ReplyDeleteI did want to ask a question.
ReplyDeleteDid you go to the same OB? Because 3 days before you wrote this you were two months, and now you are 14 weeks. Am I just adding this up wrong?

ReplyDeleteDonald I only asked if she was seeing the same ob. Because in her entries in early October she mentioned already seeing an OB and the Ob telling her the babies are due late May Early june. When I was pregnant my Ob gave me an approximate date, and told me how far along I was.
ReplyDeleteI just thought maybe she should get another Ob if you are given such a huge gap in numbers.
